Founded in 2018, PETcoil was formed by a group of imaging scientists, engineers, and radiologists aspired to improve healthcare by creating novel medical imaging technology and bringing it to millions of patients around the globe. Our core technology has its roots at Stanford University, where our founders created their first-ever radiofrequency-penetrable PET insert system for simultaneous PET and MRI imaging.
